Selling orderbird Gift Cards

In this article, we’ll show you step by step how to sell a value gift card ("Wertgutschein") with the orderbird Gift Card System.

An active Internet connection is required to create Gift Cards.
Let’s get started
- Open the Orderpad in orderbird PRO and select a table for your customer.
- Go to the product category “Miscellaneous” and tap on “orderbird Gift Cards” to see the available options.
- Select the desired amount:
- Either a preset amount,

- or “Custom orderbird Gift Card” if you want to enter an amount different from the preset values.
- Either a preset amount,
- Complete the sale as you would with a normal order.
- The Gift Card will be printed together with the receipt. Don’t forget to hand it to your customer.
Can I also sell “Sachgutscheine” via the orderbird Gift Card System?
With the orderbird Gift Card System, you can only issue and sell value vouchers (="Wertgutschein") (also known as "multi-purpose vouchers" (=""Mehrzweckgutschein)). The sale of gift vouchers (="Sachgutschein") is not supported.
