Your TSE is an Online TSE. This means you absolutely need a constant internet connection because, according to the Cash Register Security Ordinance, all receipts must receive a signature.
What Happens If There Are Internet Connection Issues?
If the signature unit is temporarily unavailable, the receipt will not be signed. Don’t worry: The legislator anticipates short-term disruptions of the signature unit, which can occur, for example, due to internet connection issues.
In this case, your orderbird receipt will display the following message:
TSE nicht erreichbar. Letzte erfolgreiche Signatur xx:xx:xx"
("TSE not available. Last successful signature xx:xx:xx")
What If the TSE Stops Working for Other Reasons?
If the issue isn’t related to an internet outage, our partners and we are already working on appropriate solutions. Signature unit disruptions are rarely long-lasting, and receipts will be properly signed again shortly.

What Should I Do If the Internet Goes Down?
Nothing. The legislator does not require receipts to be signed retroactively. Therefore, you don’t need to do anything — your POS system remains compliant with the Cash Register Security Ordinance.
