To be able to use the card reader, your registration for orderbird Pay with Nexi Germany must be successfully concluded. This means you have sent all the required documents by mail or fax and completed the POSTIdent, so that your application can be processed.

How to find out if you can already accept card payments
You can start with card payment if the following things have happened:
- You have received our mail that everything has worked out, and you can start.
- The new payment type “card payment” appears in the orderbird App. You can find it under Settings > Payment > Payment types.
Have you received our “Let's go” mail and found the entry “Card payment” in your orderbird App?
Congratulations, then the setup is complete!
Now delete the payment methods “EC Card” and “Credit Card” from the payment types, because they are not linked to the card reader. This will save you from confusion and inconvenience later on.
